Who we are
West Wratting Park Estate (“the Estate”, “we”, “us”) is a private estate at West Wratting, Cambridge. We are the data controller for the personal information you send us through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at estatepa@theorangeryclub.com or by writing to the Estate Office, West Wratting Park, West Wratting, Cambridge.
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form we ask for your first name, last name, email address, telephone number, the type of enquiry, and any details you choose to add. The telephone number and details are optional. We do not collect any other personal information through this website, and we do not use cookies that identify you.
Why we use it and the legal basis
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go on to book a shoot, event, filming or a tenancy, to arrange it. The legal basis under the UK GDPR is that the processing is necessary for our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where you ask us to, for taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We will not add you to a marketing list or send you anything you have not asked for.
How the form reaches us
Submissions are delivered to our email address by FormSubmit, a form-to-email service, which processes the data only to pass it on to us and does not use it for its own purposes. Our email is hosted by our email provider. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to two years so that we can follow up with you and refer back to previous correspondence. If your enquiry leads to a booking or tenancy, we keep the related records for as long as we need them for that arrangement and for up to six years afterwards for accounting and legal purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it to you or to someone else. To exercise any of these rights, email estatepa@theorangeryclub.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first.
Security
The form is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the mailbox that receives enquiries is limited to Estate staff who need it to respond to you.
